Because the game's decompressor has yet to be decrypted, DKC3 data is unavailable for ripping. I am ripping the maps out myself using the SDK3 Editor, Adobe Photoshop and the Windows Prt Scrn key. It's been a long, arduous and tedious journey, but so far, the mapping has gone smoothly. I had to deal with some side effects in part to the SDK3 Editor using a decryption method that hasn't been thoroughly analyzed.

On the plus side, level mapping is easier as the program only uses a default palette scheme for each level archetype. All the individual tile maps that the SDK3 editor uses are bundled with it and each level is loaded from them, unlike the SDK2 editor which loads them from rom. Presumably one could play with the color balance and other features of Photoshop in order to get something that looks a bit better, but it would be difficult to get something 100% correct. All you'd have to do is crop the individual levels.
