Thanks hodge06, just bought the 110D so update the firmware before I set it up Unfortunately as I don't know how it performed on 1.75 I can't draw any comparisons, however it seems not to like some of my XviD files. 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker Pc Torent. got the impression buying this that it would play just about anything. Any chance it's the files? I'm under the same impression re it playing just about anything. As mentioned in title - this is a beta release so you may want to wait for a bit to understand any issues etc.
Edited June 23, 2010 by hodge06. Would love to know what people think of the new update. Most of all BT performance and Upnp Performance. Cheers and good luck with the updates! Does anyone know if it should be able to mount an EXT2 formatted drive? The spec says EXT3 so I assumed it may be backward compatible. Drivers License Numbers Format By State.
Media streaming boxes are flooding the market at a rate of knots, and it's rather tough to keep up. Astone's Media Gear AP-110D has been on the market for a.
I was trying to access files from my Topfield 7100 PVRt. Darthhasbro I've just made a couple of Xvid AVI's, 1440x1080 and 720x 400 with Mobile Media Converter so will see how they go. The other AVI's I have, unknown origin, work fine, along with MP4's I made for Ipad with MMC. Would love to know what people think of the new update. Most of all BT performance and Upnp Performance.
Cheers and good luck with the updates! Plays my XviD files from the USB, infact plays pretty much everything OK from the USB However major problem with UPnP, calls the same files it plays from USB invalid and struggles to play anything at all I am connected over wireless, but am using the ASTONE USB dongle and the router is only across the hall so it should work, the PS3 does!
Will try using a wireless bridge or worst case a wired solution to see if that is indeed the issue or whether it's something more sinister. I finally got around to upgrading to this latest FW version today. Observations: - Couple of M4V files that were previously coming up as unrecognised played with no problem after the upgrade. - At first glance it appears the annoyance of having to turn off sub titles for each new file played has been corrected. They now appear to stay off unless wanting them on. - Network browsing is quicker In short - has fixed a few issues and not raised any new ones for me so far. Torrent functionality has been added with this version but I am not likely to be using it.
